One day workshop on awareness about ‘Herbal cosmetics’ organised at GNDU

Amritsar, September 20 (Punjab Post Bureau) – One day workshop on awareness about ‘Herbal cosmetics’ organised at the Department of Lifelong Learning, Guru Nanak Dev University. The Resource person Mr. Sanjay Pathak highlighted the use of herbal cosmetics products on a regular basis. They aware students about harmful effects of product containing paraben on skin. He discussed the benefits of using sulphate free and phosphate-free product. Students were benefited by getting such knowledge about herbal product for skin and hair.  He emphasized the use of herbal cosmetics over synthetic/artificial ones. He made the students aware that herbal products are free from harmful preservatives like paraben and sulphates. Besides this, he also told about the different herbal ingredients present in the different products. He trained the students to use natural products as per the texture of the skin.
