Workshop on Safe Transportation organizedat DAV Pub Sch

Amritsar, Oct 10 (Punjab Post Bureau) – As a part of campaign to create Traffic Rule Awareness among the van and auto drivers, DAV Public School, Lawrence Road organised a workshop on it in its premises. It was attended by all van and auto drivers. Balwinder Singh and Avtar Singh from District Child Welfare Office visited the school and shared the valuable information for safe driving.

         They made them aware of the directions given by High Court of Punjab and Haryana which they have to follow while driving and they have to take special care for the safety of the children. Violation of any one of the directions shall be penalized.

         Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school urged that rules of road and driving etiquettes are general practices that are required to be followed and they will help avoiding accidents and putting lives of innocent people at risk.
