Digital Museum and Light & Sound Show provide divine experience to Pilgrims

Give message of work hard, Chant God’s name and share earnings

 Sultanpur Lodhi, Nov 4 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Dedicated to the 550th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the 550 Years of Guru Nanak Dev Jidigital museum and magnificent light and sound show provided divine experience to the pilgrims in Sultanpur Lodhi for the last three days. 

            Both the events had beautifully given the messages of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji ‘Work Hard, Chant God’s name and Share the Earnings, Communal harmony, Environment Conservation and Women Empowerment’ to the pilgrims who had reached the holy city to pay obeisance. 

            The pilgrims, who bathed in the Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s divine glow and spiritual splendour, appreciated the initiative of Punjab Government. 

            Thousands of the pilgrims visited the digital museum set up near Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk on November 1 and the magnificent light and sound show from November 2, was the centre of the attraction for the visitors. Around 2000 pilgrims today watched the light and sound show. 

Local MLA Mr Navtej Singh Cheema, who also watched the light and show, said that both events were organized as part of celebrations for commemorating the 550th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji in a befitting manner. 

            He said that both events had provided a rare experience to the visitors through the hi-end technology aimed at disseminating the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. 

            An elderly couple from Mehatpur got emotional while watching the digital museum and said that they might not be able to see such show in future and thanked the government for such events. 

            A family from Adampur also hailed the government’s initiative and said both events have left an indelible imprint on their minds forever.
