Dheeyan di Lohri event organized by Health Department of Kapurtahla

Kapurthala, Jan 14 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Dheeyan Di Lohri event organized by health department kapurtahla under the guidance of Civil Surgeon Dr. Jasmeet Kaur Bawa. During the function 13 girl child were honoured . On the occasion a bonfire was lit in the hospital premesis . Dr. jasmeet kaur Bawa said that girl child is not a curse but a wonderful blessing. She also said that a girl is creation of god without whom the world would not have turned into generations. She stressed that independent life is the ultimate right of every creature and daughters should not be kept devoid of it. She also said that the girls and boys should be brought up equally so that the girls once grown are no more dependent on their parents.

DFPO Dr. Raj Karni said people need to change their mindset towards girls and women. ACS Dr. Ramesh Kumari Banga, DHO Dr. Kuljit Singh, DDHO Dr. Surinder Mall, DIO Dr. Asha Mangat, DMC Dr. Sarika Duggal, Dr. Sandeep Dhawan, Dr. Mohanpreet dr.sandeep bhola, Dr. Ravjit. Dr. Sukhwinder Kaur, Dr. Rajiv bhagat were also present on the occasion.
