Eco Awareness & Prize Distribution function organized by Eco Club of DAV College

Amritsar, March 16 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Eco club of DAV College organized “Eco Awareness and Prize Distribution” function of Poster Making Competition on themes related to environmental issues. Students of Graduate and Post Graduate classes of different faculties participated in it. Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar interacted with the students and motivated them to participate enthusiastically in the activities related to the conservation of environment. He also added that nature reacts in the form of Natural disasters like Corona Virus, whenever man tries to tamper excessively with the environment.

           Prof. Nihita Sharma Convener of the Eco Club highlighted the importance of environmental friendly practices which ultimately favour our own survival. Prize winners and the participants of the Poster Making Competition were awarded with trophies and certificates. Volunteers of the Eco Club were investitured with the badges which will act as a reminder for fulfilling their responsibility towards the environment.

             Members of the Eco Club namely Dr. Gagandeep Raizada, Dr. Raghu Raj, Dr. Sakshi and faculty of the Zoology Department Dr. Neeraj Gupta and Prof. Renu Chauhan were present at the occasion.
