DC and SSP inagurates new kapurthals range office of Excise Department

Assistant commissioner Hardeep Bhanwra joins at first AEC after sepration of VAT and Excise

Kapurthala, July 14  (Punjab Post Bureau) – Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala Mrs. Deepti Uppal and SSP Satinder Singh ingaurates new kapurthala range office of Excise department at administrative complex Kapurthala today.

                     It may be mentioned here that the Punjab Government has bifurcate the Excise and Taxtation department to ensure the ehnacement in revenue genration and accoutability . The Kapurthala range would include the area of district Kapurthala and Taran Taran .

                  Welcoming the DC and SSP during inaguration AETC Hardeep Bhanwra, who has joined as first assistant commissioner Excise after Bifurcation of department has thanked the higher officials who graced the occasion.

                 Lauding the efforts of the AETC Bhanwra,  Deputy Commissioner Deepti Uppal said that it was a very satisfying that a honest and dedicated officer joined at kapurthala.

                Speaking on the occasion Hardeep Bhanwra said that to control the sale illicit liquor and increse in revenue would be the top priority of the department in Kapurthala range.

                Prominent amongst present on the occasion included ETO Harpreet singh , Gurmeet singh thapar chairman agriculture development bank, Block samiti Nadala chairman Mr. Stephan and officials of Excise department.
