DAV College initiates both offline and online admissions in lockdown

Amritsar, August 4 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Corona virus epidemic has caused a major disruption in the college admission process all over the country. In the wake of this, DAV College Amritsar has made arrangements to make admissions and deposit of fees completely online from the college website. The aspiring students were facing problems in taking admissions due to the movement restrictions enforced by the lockdown. DAV College Management Committee has taken steps to provide a solution to this problem and assure the students seeking admission in the college that there are enough alternative options available to tackle the persisting issues. The college has started online registration for the year 2020-2021 which will benefit the students. The students will have the facility to register and pay admission fees through online mode.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar said that with the lack of alternative options besides traditional admission ways, the students are frantic about their admissions and their future. Taking this into account DAV College Amritsar has decided to start online admission to ensure a hassle free admission process for the students during these harsh times which are prevailing across the country. The education system has seen many changes, but there is no barrier for those who want to learn as well as those who want to spread knowledge said Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar.
