187 Students selected during various placement drives during Session 2019-2020

Amritsar, 11 August (Punjab Post Bureau) – The placement and training cell of DAV College successfully invited various prestigious companies for on campus or off campus placements to the students. During last session 187 students of various streams of the college were selected by renowned companies like Infosys, Concentrix, Tele Performance, HCL, TCS, Decathlon ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Amazon, Wipro Wase, Chola MS General Insurance, 3 Minds Esolutions, Capgemini.

            During the placement drive, 103 students were selected by Concentrix for the post of Advisor, 18 students got selected by Tele Performance for the post of Customer Support Services,  4 students by HCL for the post of  Technical Analyst, 2 students by TCS for the post of  IT Application Maintenance and Development, 03 students by Decathlon for the post of Sports Leader, 14 students by ICICI Prudential Life Insurance for the post of Sales Executive , 1 student by Amazon for the post of Technical Service Associate, 3 students by Wipro Wase for the post of Trainee Computer Application, 5 students by Chola MS General Insurance for the post of Fields Sales Manager, 6 students by  Minds eSolutions for the post of US IT Recruiter and 10 students by Capgemini for the post of Technical Associate.

            Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College cherished the efforts of placement cell for organizing such drives in the college and for providing opportunities to the students to earn their livelihood and he added that we are also planning for online placements for our college students.

             Prof. Vikram Sharma Incharge of the Placement Cell and Head department of Computer Science & IT passed his good wishes to the 187 students who got selected during the session.  Members of placement Cell Dr Kamal Kishore  also congratulated the students.
