Business School organised ‘Industry Students Online Interactive Session’

Amritsar, August 26 (Punjab Post Bureau) – University Business School of Guru Nanak Dev University organised a Industry Students Online Interactive Session. The main aim of this interactive session was to provide opportunity for management students to have direct interaction with industry experts.

                 Dr. Gurpreet Randhawa, Head University Business School highlighted the need of enhancing the awareness and practical knowledge of management students along with their theoretical base so that students can learn about the practicalities of the real business world.

               She also welcomed guest speakers Er. Raman Gupta, Zonal Business Head East and Mr. Indra Pritam Chatterjee Regional Sales Manager East from Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd on this occasion. They spoke on marketing and future strategies of Mahindra & Mahindra especially during the Covid19 Pandemic. The speakers made the students aware regarding their highly competitive industry and how innovatively they design vehicles which enable them to continuously rise in market. The speakers also throw light on training and development as well as on performance appraisal of employees. Dr. Vikram Sandhu, Assistant Professor and Placement Incharge of the department presented vote of thanks in the end. The session was moderated by MBA final year students Khyati Puri and Abhinandan Soni.
