Amritsar, September 9 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Adopting a highly innovative technique, the students of Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology (KCET), Amritsar have developed an “Alcohol Detection System”, which will help the police to check drunken driving and reduce accidents. KCET Director/Principal Dr. Manju Sharma said the project was presented as part of the varsity’s program for innovative business ideas and technologies to academicians, entrepreneurs and industrialists, gathered from all over India for Business Start Ups at PTU campus, a few months earlier. “The event was jointly organized by TIE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) Chandigarh and IKGPTU Kapurthala and 150 teams from different Colleges of Punjab participated in the event”, said Dr. Sharma.
