Admission date extended till September 30th

Amritsar, September 18 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Department of Lifelong Learning of Guru Nanak Dev University is running the following skill based Diploma/Certificate Courses for matriculation and 10+2 boys and girls to become self reliant, who could not go for higher education because of various social and economic reasons.

            Dr. Saroj Arora, Director said that the admission to these courses will be on First Come First Serve basis and the last date of admission has been extended till September 30^th, 2020 due to the current Covid-19 situation and the demand of the students who could not take admission in the courses includes One Year Diploma in Computer Applications, One Year Diploma in Fashion & Textile Designing, One Year Diploma in Fashion Designing, One Year Diploma in Cosmetology, One Year Certificate Course in Dress Designing Cutting & Tailoring, One Year Diploma in Graphics & Web Designing, Six Month Certificate Course in Beauty Culture, Six Month Certificate Course in Cutting & Tailoring, Six Month Certificate Course in Web Designing, Six Month Certificate Course in English Speaking & Communication Skills, Training Programme in  IELTS, Six Month Course in AutoDesk Revit Modelling

            The classes of the students are being conducted online with effect from September 1^st, 2020. However, as and when the situation returns to normal the regular offline classes shall be conducted in the Department. Admission to Crash Course (20 Days) in “IT Returns and Form filling etc.” has also been extended till September 30^th, 2020.
