District fully geared up to solve the grievances of people via portal
Kapurthala, November 2 (Punjab Post Bureau – Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala Mrs. Deepti Uppal said that the
district administration has fully geared up for the online complaint redressal system which was rolled out by the Punjab government in the whole state by the Department of Governance Reforms and Public Grievances (DGR&PG).
The Deputy Commissioner said that Punjab Government has launched a web portal titled ‘Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS)’, under which the citizens can submit their grievances for resolution at connect.punjab.gov.in or on the M-sewa Mobile App or physically submit their grievances at DC Offices and Department Offices from where they will be uploaded onto the portal.
She also made it clear that the soon citizens would be able to submit grievances at Sewa Kendras as the district administrations is making adequate arrangements for that besides setting up a call Centre to further facilitate the people.
She said that under the new grievances redressal system the citizens would be able to track the status of their grievances online besides getting alerts by SMS on the status of their grievance redressal. To track the public opinion, the new system have the facility under which the people would be able to submit their feedback through IVR system on the resolution provided and in case they are not satisfied with the redressal provided grievances are escalated to higher authorities in the workflow.
Urging the people to come forward to file their grievances on PGRS portal, Deputy Commissioner said that it would help in to provide the citizen-centric, transparent and accountable governance.
