
Amritsar, 27 October (Manjit Kaur) CKD Institute of Management and Technology (CKDIMT) has done exceedingly well in various courses of the latest held University examinations conducted by Punjab Technical University (PTU) by securing 10 merit positions. The Institute is being run under the aegis of Chief Khalsa Diwan, a premiere Education Society to impart professional educations in the field of Management and Technology. Established only two and a half years ago the Institute has made a hallmark academics as it is evident that Simarpreet Kaur (BCA 2nd Sem) bagged second position in the University with 91% marks and Sahiba Arora (MBA 2nd Sem) also bagged second position with 87% marks (both standing first at the District level). Laurels to the Institute were also brought by Palak Mehra (securing 5th position); Khushboo Malik and Rohini Vij (both getting 6th rank); Karishma Batra and Mitul Arora (both getting 9th position) at the University level. Besides, Nikhil Arora (B.Sc-ATHM 4th Sem); Niharika (BBA 4th Sem) and Ravinder Kaur (B.Sc-ATHM 4th Sem) secured respectively 6th, 9th and 10th position in the University. All University position holders have obtained marks in the range of 80-91%. CKD President, S. Charanjit Singh Chadha garlanded the University position holders on their splendid achievements and attributed their success to the hard work put in by the Principal Dr. H.S. Sandhu and the learned faculty. He congratulated the outstanding students of the Institute and announced that Alumni Association will be formed soon.
The Institute has another landmark to its credit in the field of placements. Leading national and multinational companies which visited the Institute and made 100 percent placements (of MBA pass out students) include Videocon Telecom; Tommy Hilfiger; HCL; Aditya Birla Sunlife; Wipro; Reliance Communications; HDFC Bank etc. S. Narinder Singh Khurana, Honorary Secretary; Dr. Baljinder Singh (Member-in-Charge) of CKDIMT; Dr. H.S. Sandhu, Principal and S. Paramjit Singh Makkar (Head Placements) were also Present in the press conference.
