187 nominations filed for MC polls

 Kapurthala, Feburary 3 (Punjab Post Bureau) – For the elections of Municipal corporation kapurthala and Municipal council Sultanpur Lodhi, 187 nominations were filed till today. Additional district electoral officers cum ADC SP Angra said that for 50 wards of kapurthala Municipal corporation 169 nominations have been filed , out of which 23 were filed on yesterday and 146 on today.

              On the other hand for Sultanpur Lodhi Municipal council 18 nominations were filed today. It may be mentioned here that for 50 wards of MC kapurthala and 13 wards of sultanpur lodhi Municipal council, the voting would be held on February 14.
