Amritsar, February 12 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Two-week online Refresher course in Indian Heritage and Human Values concluded on 9th Feb 2021. The course which was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof Jaspal Singh Sandhu on 27th Jan 2021 included 39 participants from various parts of India.
The valedictory session was presided over by Prof Shweta Shenoy, Head MYAS GNDU Department of Sports Sciences and Medicine. The chief guest congratulated the participants on successful completion of the course and appreciated the cultural programme presented by them. She also delved that human values need to be nurtured among students and stressed that India’s rich cultural heritage need to be show cased to the youngsters to make them proud citizens of the country. The course coordinator Prof Kuldeep Kaur gave the summary of the course and Deputy Director UGC-HRDC Dr Rajbir Bhatti took the participants through the virtual tour of the university. The participants shared their feedback on the course and expressed their desire to attend more courses at UGC-HRDC GNDU in offline mode. The session concluded with vote of thanks by the Deputy Director.
