Amritsar, May 3 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Senior Bhartiya Janta Party leader Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina today hailed party’s landslide victory in Assam and Puducherry and `good performance’ in the West Bengal. He said out of the total five states went to polls, the party showed a major presence in the three as it retained power in Assam and registered victory in Puducherry.
While congratulating Prime Minister Narendera Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and party’s national President J.P Nadda, he said the party had just three MLA’s in West Bengal and party’s voters mass base has increased manifold. “In total party’s leadership and Centre government’s pro-poor and reformatory measures have elicited a positive response. People have reposed their faith in Modi’s leadership”, said Chhina adding that Modi’s agenda of development’ and progress of the country has been vindicated.
Chhina also said that the election results have shown that the false propaganda by opposition parties on the validity of the Electronics Voting Machines (EVMs) has also been exposed. He said the party contested the state polls on the issue of development and the people have shown confidence in the leadership of Modi and Shah. He congratulated all other senior leaders at national level and in state for the BJP’s good performance in states.
