Amritsar, May 11 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Under the guidance of Ms. Harpreet Kaur Randhwa Ld. District & Sessions Judge Amritsar a two days COVID vaccination camp was held at District Courts Amritsar. 80 Court employees were given vaccination dose on 06.05.2021 whereas 99 officials were given vaccination dose on 10.05.2021. All the Court officials being Front Line workers were given the “COVISHIELD” vaccine as provided by the Health Authorities of Amritsar.
Ms. Harpreet Kaur Randhawa Ld. District & Sessions Judge Amritsar stated that the Court officials being front line workers are required to get the vaccine. Earlier COVID test camps were organised in this Sessions Division wherein many officials as well as Judicial Officers had been tested positive for COVID. For the safety of the Court staff, a successful camps for vaccination to all the Court officials were organised on 06.05.2021 & 10.05.2021, wherein all the guidelines issued by Government of Punjab as well as Hon’ble High Court of Punjab & Haryana, Chandigarh regarding social distancing, wearing of safety equipments etc., were strictly adhered by the Court staff. The Ld. District & Sessions Judge, Amritsar also prayed for the speedy recovery of all the COVID patients.
Sh. Aashish Saldi Chief Judicial Magistrate Amritsar informed that the camps were organised for vaccination jab in the Amritsar Sessions Division for the safety of the Judicial Court employees. All the Court employees were given the Covishield vaccine being frontline workers and proper social distancing and other instructions issued by the Government of Punjab and Hon’ble High Court of Punjab & Haryana, Chandigarh were strictly followed by the Court staff.
