DIAMOND Rating for GNDU in QS I-GAUGE

Amritsar, June 16 (Punjab Post Bureau) – GNDU has been making high strides in improving its rating and ranking as one of the top institutions in the various surveys conducted by the public sector and private agencies. While participating in the QS IGAUGE Rating System, it has been rated in Diamond category in the field of ‘research, faculty quality and infrastructure’.

        The University’s high h-Index of 113 is the result of high quality research publications by the highly qualified faculty using state-of-the-art facilities. Regular updation of course curricula to lead high quality education and high employability of its programmes have earned the university Gold rating in ‘Employability’ criteria of agency.

        GNDU is also committed to its social responsibilities and hence keeps on organising various training events and awareness campaigns regularly which helped it to bag Gold rating. Overall the university is positioned in the Gold category for all the parameters adopted by the QS IGAUGE Rating System. While congratulating the faculty, students and staff, Prof. (Dr.) Jaspal Singh Sandhu, the Vice-Chancellor of the university, has expressed confidence that the university rating will go up in the near future as it is making its sincere efforts to further improve its laboratory facilities to facilitate innovative research by the students and the faculty. He opined that high quality teaching-learning and research is crucial to attain higher ratings of different agencies.
