Bibi Jagir Kaur congratulates winning members of DSGMC

Amritsar, August 26 (Punjab Post Bureau) – SGPC President Bibi Jagir Kaur has congratulated the winning candidates of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) elections.

             She lauded the landslide victory of Shiromani Akali Dal and also congratulated party president Sukhbir Singh Badal and all the office-bearers.

                Bibi Jagir Kaur said that the Sangat (Community) of Delhi has taken a big decision in view of the valuable Panthic and humanitarian services and efforts to preserve the Sikh heritage, done by the DSGMC under the leadership of Shiromani Akali Dal. She said that for a long time now the opposition had been campaigning with false propaganda to overthrow Shiromani Akali Dal but the re-election of Shiromani Akali Dal members by the Sangat is a victory of Panthic and Qaumi (of community) thinking. SGPC President said that the Sangat of Delhi today seriously rejected those who are trying to destroy Sikh institutions.
