All Government ITIs across the state to organise such fairs to facilitate youth
Kapurthala, October 2 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Punjab Government in collaboration with the union Government will
organize a apprenticeship fair at Rail Coach Factory kapurthala on October 4 to facilitate the youth who have industrial training skills by offering nearly 300 vacancies of Apprentices.
Technical education and industrial training Minister of Punjab Mr Rana Gurjit Singh said that the orders have been issued to organise these kind of fairs at all Government ITIs across the state so that they would be able to avail the maximum benefits of state government initiatives of facilitating self employment efforts.
According to departmental officials In the fair at RCF 296 vacancies to filled from ITI passed applicants which includes 87 fitter, 46 Welders, Painter 20, Carpenter 24, Mechanic 13 etc.
Students would be able to registered themselves on the spot apart from visiting the www.apprenticeshipindia.org portal. They can also deposit their applications along with required documents at concerned Government ITIs in the state.
