Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh and more expressed their condolences

Harjinder Singh Dhami has expressed deep grief over the demise of Baba Iqbal Singh of Baru Sahib, founder of the Akal Academies, playing a leading role in the field of education.
Paying homage to the departed soul, SGPC President said that with the hard work, Baba Iqbal Singh became the guidance for flourishing education and by establishing a series of Akal Academies; he reached out to the backward areas to spread the light of education.
He said at the Akal Academies started by Baba Iqbal Singh, the students taking education there are given the knowledge about the Sikh faith on priority, which shows his Panthak spirit.
Advocate Dhami said that with the demise of Baba Iqbal Singh, the Sikh Panth (community) has been devoid of an enlightened soul.
Meanwhile, Giani Raghbir Singh, Jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, recalling the incomparable services of Baba Iqbal Singh said that he was a firm personality, who worked for the betterment of the society. He said the demise of such personality is a great loss to the Panth.
SGPC senior vice-president Raghujit Singh Virk, junior vice-president Principal Surinder Singh, general secretary Jathedar Karnail Singh Panjoli, SGPC secretary Mohinder Singh Ahli, Sukhdev Singh Bhurakohna, Dr. Paramjit Singh Saroa, OSD to SGPC President Satbir Singh also expressed their grief over the demise of Baba Iqbal Singh.
