Amritsar, February 24 (Punjab Post Buereau) – Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School G.T Road running under
Chief Khalsa Diwan observed its Annual Ardas Diwas to pray to the Almighty and seek the blessings of Gurus for the success of classes X and XII who will appear in their CBSE Board examination-2022. As per the directions of CKD President Nirmal Singh, the ceremony commenced with the Bhog of Sehaj Path followed by recitation of kirtan by school music team. On this auspicious occasion, prizes were given away to meritorious achievers of class XI who excelled in academics in 2020-21. CKD Honorary Secretary S. Ajit singh Basra, Vice President Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar Honorary Secretary Educational Committee Dr. S.S Chhina, School Member Incharge Prof. Hari Singh and other CKD members inspired the students to burn midnight oil to pass through Board examination with flying colours and advised the students to work with full dedication, sincerity and determination to bring laurels and maintain the school tradition of excellence.
A documentary film titled ‘Sri Harkrishan Dhiayie’ produced and directed by Dharam Prachar Committee and Mass Media department of SGHPS, G.T Road was also released by CKD management. Mrs. Prabhjot Kaur and Dr. Navalpreet Singh and other teachers of music and divinity department were conferred with certificates of excellence for their valuable contributions in composing the documentary. Principal Dr. DharamVeer Singh while wishing a bright career to the students with their hard work, proposed the vote of thanks to all. Langar was also served on the occasion.
