Amritsar, April 21 (Punjab Post Bureau) – On the occasion of 401st Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the
bhog (concluding ceremony) of Sri Akhand Path Sahib was held at his birthplace Guru Ke Mahal and beautiful jalau (grandeur) were decorated at Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib, with the relics and valuables from the shrine’s toshakhana. On this occasion, the Sangat had glimpses of Shastars of the sixth, ninth and tenth Guru’s, displayed in a special bus and gained information about Sikh history from an exhibition of paintings. SGPC also made arrangements of a large screen near Gurdwara Manji Sahib for showing documentary films related to life of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Last night, a special Kirtan Darbar was organised at Gurdwara Guru Ke Mahal, in which, prominent raagi jathas connected the Sangat with Gurbani and langar continued constantly for the Sangat.
