SGHPS GT Road observes Earth Day

Amritsar, April 26 (Punjab Post Bureau) – To spread the awareness among the students about the benefits of Green Economy, Earth Day was observed by Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School G.T Road. A special assembly was conducted wherein Parnaaz Kaur of Grade IX threw a light on the importance of trees and recycling. On the ocassion, Principal / Director Dr. Dharam Veer Singh said that the objective of the Earth Day 2022 theme ‘invest in our planet’ is focused on accelerating solutions to combat the world’s greatest threat of climate change and to initiate everyone to do their part. Theme based Poster Making activity gave the students of grade VI and VII a platform to showcase their artistic and creative skills.Headmistresses, Mrs. Kawalpreet Kaur and Mrs. Ravinder kaur Narula were also present on the occasion.
