Closing Ceremony of 16th Inter Sri Guru Harkrishan Schools Sports Meet held

Amritsar, November 28 (Manjit Kaur) – 16^th Inter Harkrishan Public Schools Sports Meet organized by the CKDCS was closed today followed by the Prize Distribution function in SGHP School, G.T. Road auditorium. The G.T. Road school was the venue for Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Rope Skipping and Badminton competitions. The Chief Guest for the programme S. Charanjit Singh Chadha, President CKDCS accorded warm welcome by S. Harminder Singh, Member Incharge. The Programme began with the school shabad ‘Deh Shiva Bar Mohe’

1. Charanjit Singh Chadha, President CKDCS addressed all the participants and encouraged them to maintain the spirit of sportsmanship, dedication and team work. A punjabi Duet Song was also presented on the ocassion.

           Under the able guidance of Mrs. Amrit Kaur, Sports Incharge, the participants under 14, under 17 and under 19 participated in different events with ability, determination and hard work. The occasion was also graced by S. Narinder Singh Khurana, Hony. Secy., S. Sunrinder Pal Singh Walia, S. Manmohan Singh Sethi, S. Lakhbir Singh Kheyala and S. Ajit Singh. Dr. Dharam Veer Singh, Principal/Director congratulated the winners for their wonderful performance and awarded them prizes. The programme culminated with the foot tapping Bhangra.
