‘Religious Competitions’ organized in Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School Airport Road

Amritsar, Dec. 3 (Manjit Kaur)- ‘Religious Competitions’ organized in Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School Airport Road today. The students participated with full enthusiasm. IX and X class students delivered lectures on Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji & Bhai Veer Singh Ji. They expressed their views with great zest & zeal. They threw light on the life of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji who is also known Hind Di Chaddar. Some students threw light on the life of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji the tenth Guru of Sikhs who established Khalsa. Some students spoke few lines on Bhai Veer Singh Ji the great poet & novelist. VII class students recited poems on the life of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and some recited few lines from the pomes of Bhai Veer Singh in poems. The students of 2^nd class participated in Shabad Competition. While singing the shabad they spellbound the audience. The students of K.G. class participated in Religious poem competition with their sweet voice & innocent smile.

Principal Mrs. Ravinder Kaur Bumra presided over the function. She appreciated the students and gave the prizes to the winners. The winners of IX class, Sfti Tiwana got the 1^st position, Ramandeep Jaur secured the 2^nd position. Gurnoor Singh & Robindeep Singh got the 3^rd position, Baljinder Kaur & Amandeep Kaur from class X got the 1^st & 2^nd prizes respectively. While addressing the students, she inspired the students to come forward and participate in these competitions.
