DAV Public School Wins Top Positions in Geeta Chanting Competition

Amritsar, Dec. 5 (Jagdeep Singh Saggu) – DAV Public School, Lawrence Road , Amritsar students participated in Chinmay Geeta Chanting Competition held  at Bhavan’s SL Public School. 12 schools from Amritsar district participated in the competition . The following  students,  divided in four groups received the prizes :

Omansh Sharma got an appreciation prize for on the spot recitation of Shaloks in a Yoga Competition held  in Goa. Regional Director Amritsar Zone Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra Principal BBK DAV College for Women, Lawrnce Road , Amritsar and the Manager of the school Dr.K.N. Kaul congratulated  the students for their achievement. They said that it was the responsibility of the school to develop spirituality among the students.Dr.Neera Sharma Principal of the school encouraged the students to participate in more such competitions and bring  laurels to the school and the family.
