Department of Lifelong Learning organized workshop on Party Make-up & Hair Style

Amritsar September 11 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The department of Lifelong Learning of Guru Nanak Dev University organized a workshop on “Party Make-up & Hair Style” in collaboration of  Orane Academy Mall Road Amritsar.

Prof. (Dr.) Mrs. Saroj Bala, director of the department welcomed the Makeup Artists and apprised the students about the different job opportunities in the field of cosmetology and advised the students to develop the perfection in the skills by doing maximum practice. The professionals from academy demonstrated the different steps of makeup on a model and also gave detailed information to the students about the different brands of products used. They gave awareness about the products to be used according to the different seasons. They also imparted hands on training to the students about the use of different gadgets for the better outcome. They also provided tips of eye make-up in which they explained the methodology of  using several brushes. They touched upon the every minute detail of the procedures of complete party make up & Hair Styling in a professional way. The students of Cosmetology were spellbound by this programme and learned by interacting with the artists. Mrs. Tejpal Kaur and Mrs. Devika coordinated the event and thanked the whole team.
