Advocate Dhami condemns beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib in village Bishanpur

Amritsar, October 8 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has strongly condemned the crime of beadbi (sacrilege) of Guru Granth Sahib at Bishanpur village in Hoshiarpur district.

Advocate Dhami said that the writings of Guru Granth Sahib guides mankind the way to live a good life. He said in the past, many crimes of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib have taken place, but due to lax performance of governments, the culprits escape punishments.

Advocate Dhami said that in this fresh incident at Hoshiarpur district, a 9-year-old migrant child tore the holy angs (parts) of Guru Granth Sahib, which seems to be a part of well-planned conspiracy.

SGPC President said that identifying the people behind this crime is important, so that the forces which are working secretly can be exposed. He appealed to the government to investigate this case seriously and take strict legal action against the people behind this crime.
