Computer Engg & Technology & Social Sciences Departments wins Basketball Championships

Amritsar, October 13 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  Department of Computer Engineering & Technology and Department of Social Sciences won the Inter-Department Basketball championships in Boys/Girls sections respectively. These competitions were organized under FIT INDIA Program (Govt. of India) by Guru Nanak Dev University Campus Sports. 25 Boys and 22 Girls teams of various departments participated in these competitions.

Dr. Amandeep Singh, Teacher In-charge, GNDU Campus Sports & Nodal Officer – GNDU Fit India Program, Govt. of India said that in boys section, Department of Social Sciences, Department of Physics and Department of Mechanical Engineering got second, third and fourth positions respectively. In Girl section Department of Pharmaceuticals Sciences University School of Financial Studies and Electronics Technology got second, third and fourth positions in these championships. On this occasion, Prof. Anish Dua Dean Student’s Welfare honors the winner teams with Trophies.
