Law and Physics Depts. won GNDU Inter-Department Hockey Championships

Amritsar, March 20 ( Punjab Post Bureau) – Law Department and Department of Physics won the Inter-Department Hockey championships in Boys/Girls category respectively. These competitions was organized with the blessings of Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr) Jaspal Singh Sandhu under Fit India Program (Govt. of India) by Guru Nanak Dev University Campus Sports. As many as 16 Boys and 13 Girls teams of various departments participated in these competitions.

Dr. Amandeep Singh, Teacher In-charge GNDU Campus Sports & Nodal Officer – GNDU Fit India Program, Govt. of India said that in boys section, Department of Physics, Social Sciences and Computer Engineering Technology got second, third and fourth positions respectively. In Girls section, Department of Law and Computer Engineering Technology got second and third positions respectively in these championships.  On this occasion, Prof. Preet Mohinder Singh Bedi, Dean Student’s Welfare honored the winner teams with Trophies on this occasion.
