Mahatma Gandhi portrait installed at JCP Attari dedicated to 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

Attari, April 28 (Punjab Post Bureau) – To glorify the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Guiding Spirit of IndianFreedom Movement and the archetype of true patriotism, who played a vital role in Independence of our Nation, a digitised version of Mahatma Gandhi’s Portrait has been dedicated to 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and installed at the significant location at JCP Attari border. The Portrait of Mahatma Gandhi will not only be a sign of patriotism but will be of immense interest for the daily visitors during the retreat ceremony and above all a significant preview of Father of the Nation from across the border, highlighting Mahatma Gandhi being a great visionary who often through his meaningful quotes inspired people towards Nation building. The Portrait has been prepared and digitised by Punjab’s eminent Author, Heritage Promoter & Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu (Former Additional Advocate General Punjab), The huge size Portrait of Mahatma Gandhi carries his meaningful quote, “The Future depends on what we do in the Present”

Sanjay Gaur, Deputy Inspector General, Border Security Force acknowledged the innovative and dedicated efforts of Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu to have digitised the significant Portrait of Mahatma Gandhi for JCP Attari,  the portrait was today installed at Attari open stadium & Pictorial work compiled by Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu depicting  Bapu Gandhi message was also released by Member Parliament Amritsar Gurjit Singh Aujla,  Member Parliament Khadoor Sahib Jasbir Singh Gill , Deputy Commissioner Amritsar Harpreet Singh Sudan  IAS, DIG Border Range Dr. Narinder Bhargav, Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu , Deputy Commissioner Customs ICP Attari , Navneet Kaushal  IRS, Joint Commissioner, Customs ICP Attari IRS, Sher Jung Singh DPRO, Navdeep S Sandhu Suptd Customs, AIPL Director Shamsheer Singh, Deputy Commandant BSF JCP Attari, BSF & Customs Department Officers and Jawans. Deputy Commissioner Amritsar Harpreet Singh Sudan IAS applauded the meaningful pictorial work highlighting Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi  done by Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu  and described the Portrait to be a significant symbol at Attari Border.
