Guru Nanak Dev University to conduct CET & Counseling for B.Ed. Admissions in Punjab

Registration of Application Starts from 9^th June 2023

Amritsar, June 02 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Guru Nanak Dev University has got the responsibility for second time to conduct the Common Entrance Test (CET) and Centralized Counseling for B.Ed course for the Session 2023-24 in all the colleges of Education (Govt., Govt. Aided and Private Self-Financed Colleges) affiliated to (1) Panjab University, Chandigarh (2) Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, and (3) Punjabi University, Patiala as per Panjab Government notification no.I/569758/2023 on dated 29/05/2023.

Prof. (Dr.) Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Vice Chancellor of Guru Nanak Dev University, has put up the responsibility to Prof. Amit Kauts, Head of Department of Education, Guru Nanak Dev University, as Coordinator, B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (CET) and Centralized Counselling for the smooth conduct of the CET and  counselling. Dr. Kauts,  informed that the admission of all the Colleges of Education will be done strictly as per Punjab Government notification and the  recommendations of the admission committee duly constituted by the Guru Nanak Dev University,  Amritsar. The B.Ed  admission portal will operate from 5^th June 2023 onwards and all the colleges affiliated to various universities has to download the Mandatory Performa from the portal,  and duly filled Performa signed by the Dean, College Development Council of the affiliating University is to be emailed at pbbedadmissions2023@gndu.ac.in  . The  colleges have to ensure the submission of the hard copy latest by 19^th June 2023,  at Room No.1, Department of Education (near UIT Building), Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. All the aspirants who want to take admission in B.Ed course must register/ apply on the admission portal i.e. https://punjabbedadmissions.gndu.ac.in.   Registration on the admission portal is mandatory for all applicants including those who have to take admission against management quota seats. He further said that the university intends to complete the counseling and start the session by the mid of September 2023. The detail, of the Common Entrance Test and Counseling shall be notified by the University on the admission portal time to time.  Technical Team of experts will be regularlyupdating details address to the queries of the participants for smooth functioning.
