BBK DAV College Women organizes Havan to Mark the Beginning of Session 2023-24

Amritsar, July 27 (Punjab Post Bureau) – BBK DAV College for Women, organized havan to seek divine blessings of the Almighty on the first day of the session 2023-24. Amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras and offering of ‘Aahuties’ in the sacred fire. Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia along with the members of the teaching and non-teaching staff prayed for the progress, prosperity and well-being of the college. Narinder and Vijay Mehak from the Department of Music presented a soulful bhajan on the occasion.

Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia in her address motivated the new students to adopt Vedic and spiritual values in their lives. She congratulated the staff and students of the college fortheir stellar achievement in the university examinations of B.A Sem VI in which the college students bagged the top three positions as well as nine other merit positions.

Sudarshan Kapoor Chairman Local Managing Committee presented vote of thanks. The havanyajna concluded with the distribution of ‘Prashad’ .Dr. Pallavi Sethi Principal DAV Public School, Col. Ved Mitter Arya Samaj, Model Town, all the office bearers and members of Arya Yuvti Sabhaof the college graced the occasion with their presence.
