Amritsar, November 22 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Amritsar District IAP Women Cell in collaboration with Khalsa College Amritsar (KCA) organized “Free Physiotherapy Remedial camp” for post chikungunya symptoms at Department of Physiotherapy KCA. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Mehal Singh, Principal KCA. The aim of camp to conduct a remedial teaching session for patients suffering from post chikungunya symptoms like joint pain, muscle pain, swelling, breathing problems and fatigue.
The session included the entire assessment of the patient first performed through questionnaire and the protocol was planned according to the symptoms. Patients from college campus and the areas nearby availed the free services of this camp.
The camp was supervised by Dr. Manu Vishist, State Head, Punjab IAP Women Celland Dr. Varinder Kaur, District coordinator, IAP Women Cell. The staff members Dr. Aman Navneet Kaur, Dr. Jobandeep Singh, Dr. Sandeep Pal, Dr. Chitvanjeet Kaur, Dr. Amanpreet Kaur, Dr. Kulwant Kaur, Dr. Baljeet Kaur, Dr. Mansi Tuli, Dr. Arpandeep Kaur were present in the camp.
Principal Dr. Mehal Singh congratulated the head of Physiotherapy Department Dr. Manu Vishist and the other staff members of the Department for organizing such event.
