BBK DAV College for Women Celebrates Vijay Diwas

Amritsar, January 1 (Punjab Post Bureau) – BBK DAV College for Women celebrated Vijay Diwas to honor the victory of the Indian Armed Forces over Pakistan in 1971 war and to pay tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for their country. NCC cadets of the college from 1st-Punjab Girls Battalion NCC Amritsar paid homage to the war heroesby making posters and delivering lectures.

While speaking on the occasion Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia said that Vijay Diwas holds a great significance for every Indian. She conveyed that this commemorative occasion serves as a powerful reminder, resonating with the collective spirit of courage demonstrated by our Armed Forces. She further said that it stands as a testament to one of the greatest triumphs in the annals of Indian history.

ANO Lt. Dr. Amandeep Kaur and training JCO Subedaar Ashok Singh were also present on the occasion.
