GNDU NSS unite organises workshop on E-Waste Management 

Amritsar,  October 3 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The NSS unit of Guru Nanak Dev University, successfully organized a comprehensive E-waste management drive under the banner of “Swacchta Hi Sewa.” The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the pressing issue of electronic waste and encourage responsible disposal practices among students and the wider community.

The event was organized by the NSS Programme Officers Dr. Harkirandeep Kaur and Dr. Palwinder Bhatia, who played pivotal roles in its execution and coordination. Dr. Anil Kumar graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, offering valuable insights into sustainable waste management practices. The event featured Dr. Rajan Sharma as the main speaker, who delivered an engaging and informative session on the environmental and health impacts of improper E-waste disposal.

The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members, reflecting a shared commitment to creating a cleaner and greener environment. The event concluded with a pledge by all attendees to continue promoting eco-friendly practices and contributing to the Swachh Bharat mission.
