Celebrating Excellence: DAV Public School Felicitates Class X Students

Amritsar, April 27 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Under the magnanimous and dynamic leadership of Dr. Punam Suri Padma Shri Awardee and President DAV CMC New Delhi DAV Public School Lawrence Road Amritsar organised its Annual Prize Distribution Function on 26 April 2026, to honour the meritorious students of Std. X

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Arya Ratna Dr. Punam Suri Padma Shri Awardee and President, DAV CMC New Delhi, accompanied by Mrs. Mani Suri the First Lady of the DAV family. The event was further graced by the benign presence of several distinguished dignitaries, including Dr. J. Kackria, Honorary Treasurer DAV CMC and Vice Chairperson DAV Public School; Mrs. Sween Puri Manager, DAV Public School Amritsar and the LMC members. The function commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and DAV Anthem.

The atmosphere resonated with applause and jubilation as the most awaited segment of the event—the felicitation of the Class X achievers commenced. Upholding its rich legacy of academic excellence, the school proudly celebrated 178 students who secured 90% and above, along with 65 students who attained a perfect score of 100 in various subjects.

Aarti Makhija who secured an outstanding 99.76 percentile in JEE Main 2026 (Phase II) and emerged as the District Topper among girls was also felicitated.

In his address Hon’ble President Dr. Punam Suri expressed immense pride and delight at the students’ phenomenal success. During the felicitation ceremony he shared a profound message with the students, emphasizing that while hard work is indispensable, it must be guided by sincerity of intention, actions rooted in honesty and purity of purpose, coupled with unwavering faith in God, lead to true success. Encouraging students he remarked that True success, does not arise from conditional effort or calculated rewards, but from selfless dedication.

Principal Dr. Pallavi Sethi expressed her sincere gratitude to all the distinguished guests for their gracious presence and inspiring words.
