Amritsar, Jan. 28 (Manjit Kaur) – BCA 4th Sem. Manpreet Kaur of CKD Institute of Management and Technology (CKDIMT) received second prize in declamation competition held at Guru Nanak Auditorium. Large number of students from various prominent schools and colleges participated in this event. The competition was organized by city based NGO Society for Accident Aid and Traffic Help (SAATH) to spread awareness on traffic rules. The theme of declamation was the need to follow the traffic rules and to portray the follies committed by the residents in following the traffic rules. Previously also, Tech Fest held at Khalsa College, CKD students won laurels in image makeover, website development and chart making.
Dr. Baljinder Singh, Member-Incharge and Dr. H.S. Sandhu, Principal of CKDIMT appreciated the efforts of Prof. Harpreet Singh, (Officer-Incharge Student Affairs), Prof. Ravneet Kaur and college students. They also urged the students to follow the traffic norms in letter and spirit as large number of innocent lives are lost in road mishaps due to over speeding and flouting the traffic norms leading to fatal mishaps.
