Amritsar, Mar. 3 (Punab Post Bureau) – Aashween Dhingra of B.Sc. Non-Med Sem-II and Snehdeep Kaur B.Sc. Non-Med Sem-IV, students of BBK DAV College for Women participated in Mathematics declamation contest organized by Guru Nanak Dev University, on the occasion of the celebration of Mathematics Day. The Programme was inaugurated by worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. A.S. Brar. A lecture on “Prof. Srinivasa Ramanujam and his Contributions” was delivered by Prof. T.D. Narang. There were 11 colleges that participated in the competition. The topic for the declamation was “Role of Mathematics in Science, Technology and Society”. Aashween Dhingra bagged the second position.
Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra congratulated the students and wished them good luck for their future. Mrs. Manju Duggal HOD, Mathematics Department and Teacher Ms. Enu Gupta congratulated the winners and appreciated them for their efforts.
