Amritsar, May 25 (Manjit Kaur) – The air was abuzz with excitement and exhilaration at SGHPS G.T. Road school, when CBSE declared class XII result today. Out of 293 students, 49 scored 90 % and above marks and 41 students between 85 % -89% marks. Kompal, Manmeet Singh & Abhijeet Singh brought laurels to the school by scoring 96.6% in Medical and Non-Medical streams respectively. They are the city toppers in science streams. Sukhandeep Kaur stood first in humanities group by scoring 95.8 %. Ashmeen Kaur stood first in Commerce stream by scoring 95.4%. The school campus was exuberant with joy and festivity when the top scorers flocked to school to greet the Principal and teachers. They owed their credit to their teachers and parents for their outstanding performance. The school toppers said that blessings of Almighty and inspiration of his teachers and parents and his hard work helped him achieve success. Expression of joy and contentment was writ large on the faces of S. Harminder Singh and Navpreet Singh, Members Incharge, Principal Dr. Dharam Veer Singh and the entire team of teachers. They congratulated the students, teachers and the proud achievers and also appreciated the earnest efforts of the teachers who acted to be a great motivational force behind this great success.
