Amritsar District Overall Champion in Rope Skipping

Amritsar, May 26 (Punjab Post Bureau) – 7^th State Rope Skipping Championship – 2015 was held at Major Ajaib Singh Convent School, Faridkot from May 22 to 24. 300 students from different districts participated in  this  State level Championship. Amritsar District was  declared the overall Champion. The detailed result is as  follows : In U – 11 category :

1. Divya bagged Gold Medal in doubles.
2. Drishti bagged Gold Medal in Single Bounces.
3. Swayam bagged Gold in jogging and silver in team relay.
4. Qayanat bagged Gold in jogging and silver in team relay.
5. Rehmat won Silver medal in jogging and silver in team relay.

In U  – 14 category :

6. Vidhi won Bronze Medal in 30 sec jogging and silver medal in team relay.
7. Nitnavya bagged Bronze in 30 sec double and silver medal in team relay.
8. Priya won silver medal in team relay.
9. Harshita bagged Bronze Medal in 3 min endurance.
10. Navnidhi won silver in freestyle.

Regional Director Amritsar Zone Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra Principal BBK DAV College for Women, Lawrence Road, Amritsar and  Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College, Hathi Gate , applauded the efforts of the school and the students for their brilliant performance.
