CKD Institute Students Outshine Securing Top Positions in PTU Exams

Amritsar, July 16 (Manjit Kaur) – CKD Institute of Management and Technology (CKDIMT) has consistently maintained exceptional results not just in terms of pass percentages, class averages and first divisions but also in terms of number of students Graduating/Post graduating with merit positions in the University. The college has the distinction of having appreciable numbers of students in the University merit list on a consistent basis. This year again, like earlier examinations, as many as 7 students of CKD Institute bagged meritorious positions in various examinations conducted by Punjab Technical University.

It is noteworthy that Sahiba Arora of MBA (3rd Sem) and Priya Joshi of B.Sc. ATHM (1st Sem) topped with 1st position in the University with 88 per cent and 81.2 per cent marks respectively in their streams. Priya of BCA (5th Sem) and Simarpreet Kaur of BCA (3rd Sem) secured 3rd positions in University scoring 91.5 per cent and 89.3 per cent marks respectively.

Money Mehta secured 4th position in the university scoring 91.2 per cent. Rohit Grover (90.5%) and Jaspreet Kaur (90.5%) each of BCA (5th Sem) have also bagged 5th positions and got their names in the merit list of PTU.

President of CKD, S. Charanjit Singh Chadha and Secretary S. Narinder Singh Khurana honored the students on their splendid meritorious achievements. Member Incharge Dr. Baljinder Singh and Principal Dr. H.S. Sandhu informed that continuing with its tradition of producing top rankers in the merit list of the University, CKDIMT has once again set a new benchmark by securing significant number of merit positions in the University.  “Students were able to achieve wonderful results due to their hard work and guidance of teachers and proud parents” they said. They congratulated the students for their outstanding performance.
