Golden arrow division celebrate’s Kargil Vijay Diwas

Jalandhar, July 26 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Golden Arrow Division celebrated Vijay Diwas in Ferozepur, Kapurthala and Prerna Sthal at Hussainiwala today to commemorate the victory of Indian Armed Forces during the 1999 Kangil War. General Officer Commanding, Golden Arrow Division laid a wreath at the Barki War Memorial while paying homage to the martyrs.  The General relived the fearless actions of the brave Indian soldiers on the icy peaks of the Himalayas during the war and paid tribute to the ability of Indian soldiers to conquer insurmountable odds time and again.  He expressed confidence that each and every soldier will rise to the occasion when called upon to do so and emulate the heroes of Kargil War.  A large number of Officers, JCOs and Jawans of Ferozepur and Kapurthala Garrison participated in the event and paid homage to the martyrs on the 16^th anniversary of our victory in 1999 Kargil War.
