Photography Competition Held at DAV Public School

Amritsar, Aug. 20 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  A Photography  Competition was held at DAV Public School, Lawrence Road to encourage the creative and visual faculties of the children and to enable them to enjoy the beauty around. With this aim the Photography  Club of the school, under the guidance of Mrs.Pratibha Panghal Supervisor Publication, organised a Photography Competition for the students of Classes VIII to XII . The theme of the competition was ‘Summer in My City’. The photographs clicked by the students were posted on the Social Media group ‘Love Photography’ – a group joined by photography enthusiasts of the school. The students were given one month’s time  for the competition. As many as 25 photographs were posted by the students from  different classes. Out of these two students were judged winners. They are Sushant Dutta   X– C and Sahib Singh IX – L. Regional Director Amritsar Zone Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra Principal BBK DAV College for Women, Lawrence Road and the Manager  of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College, Hathi Gate congratulated the students for their creative work and advised them  to follow their passion.

Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school applauded the hard work of the students. She said that creativity is a God’s gift and we must put in our best to enhance it. She said that she was happy to see the students excelling in  different fields.
