Polio drops administered to 165431 children under ‘Migratory Pulse Polio’ Round

Amritsar, 15 Sept. (Punjab Post Bureau) – The teams of Health Department have administered polio drops to 165431 children in the district during three day Migratory Pulse Polio round.

Giving details in this regard Civil Surgeon Dr. Jai Singh said that the campaign has been successfully accomplished under the direct supervision of 172 supervisors with 1017 teams having more than 2000 members. He said that the teams visited 279493 houses, brick kiln, slum areas and administered polio drops. He also said social organization had also contributed a lot in this campaign.
