DAV  Public  School  Wins the Millennium Manthan

Amritsar, Nov. 6 (Punjab Post Bureau)- DAV  Public  School , Lawrence Road , Amritsar  emerged winner in The Millennium Manthan , a Nukkad  Natak  competition organised by the Millennium School  recently. In  this state level competition , as many as 12 schools from Haryana and Punjab participated and performed on different themes.  The  young  enthusiastic  artists of DAV Public School made the message of ‘Saving the Environment’ loud and clear through their  impressive  performance which was praised by  everyone in the audience . The judges, who were renowned theatre artists were overwhelmed at the performance of the  school  and appreciatethe teachers of the school for bringing the tradition of Nukkad Natak alive . The school team clinched the Overall Trophy for its stupendous performance. The School team comprised of Ravbir Kaur , Aryaman khanna , Suhani Arora,  Rushika , Khushboo , Karan Anand , Ranvir Singh , Lakshay and Pranay. Regional Director, Amritsar  Zone, Dr. (Mrs) Neelam Kamra , Principal, BBK DAV College and the Manager of the School Dr. Rajesh kumar , Principal  of DAV College,  Hathi Gate, congratulated the students for their fabulous performance . They said that students must pursue the field of their liking and do their best in that. Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the School, applauded the efforts of the students and said that Nukkad Natak is a very effective medium to reach out to the people . She said that she was very happy to see her students reviving  this  medium.
