DAV Public School Second Runner up in CBSE National Aerobics Championship

Amritsar, Nov. 27 (Punjab Post Bureau)-  DAV  Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar was Second Runner up in CBSE National Aerobics Championship held at Delhi Public School, Udaipur recently. The school participated in three different categories and gave wonderful performances. The U – 19 mixed group comprising of Shivam Khanna  XII, Keshika Jairath XI , Ekambir X , Jasmine X , Abhishek X ,  Karishma IX , Kritika IX  and Ria Khanna X  bagged Bronze Medal. The U – 14 mixed group comprising of Snigdha VIII , Manya VI , Gaurang VIII, Arshdeep VIII,  Soumya VII, Rijul VII bagged Bronze Medal . In U – 19 Individual girls, Aayushi Chaudhary of Std X  bagged Bronze Medal and Saksham of Std VII received a participation certificate. The performance of the school was highly applauded by the judges. Regional Director , Amritsar Zone , Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra, Principal BBK DAV College for Women, Lawrence Road, Amritsar and the Manager of the school, Dr.Rajesh Kumar,Principal DAV College , Hathi Gate , Amritsar congratulated the team and blessed them for future endeavors. Dr.Neera Sharma , Principal of the school said  that aerobics is a good exercise and she would like  to see more and more of her students to take part in it. She expressed her happiness at  the commendable performance of the students and encouraged them for future competitions.
