Workshop on Skill Development held at DAV College

Amritsar, January 15 (Punjab Post Bureau) – In order to provide skills based training to their lab staff members, the department of Zoology, DAV College Amritsar organized a series of workshop on skills development here on Friday. Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar attended the workshop and congratulated the department for organizing such event for skill enhancement of their staff members. He also motivated the entire staff to continue with more such practices as these kinds of activities are very important for the non teaching staff members of the department, who assist teaching staff during the practical sessions. On the first day of the series of workshop on skill development for lab staff, different practical sessions were conducted by the subject experts. Two such experiments like isolation of Semi permeable membrane and charging of Heamocytometer were conducted in the first session under the supervision of Dr. Rajni Khanna. Dr. Neeraj Gupta, Prof Renu Chauhan, Prof. Nihita Sharma and Nitika were present during the occasion. Among lab staff members, Sanjeev Kumar, Kaushal Paswan, Ashok kumar and Amit Kumar participated in this workshop.
