NCC Cadets Carried Out Cleanliness under ‘Swach Bharat Abhiyan’ at Bolina

Jalandhar, Apr,  27 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  Taking a stride to ‘SWACH BHARAT ABHIYAN’  45 girl NCC Cadets of SD College, BD Arya College and Trinity College Jalandhar carried out cleanliness drive at Bolina Village.  The event was organized under the aegis of 2 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC Jalandhar.  A lecture on Health and Hygiene was also given by the  NCC Staff and Cadets to make the villagers aware about the cleanliness and also highlighted the importance of “ Swach Bharat Abhiyan” to them.   The whole village was cleaned by the NCC staff and cadets with the support of the villagers.  Sarpanch  Gurdeep Singh proved instrumental in conducting the event and helped whole heartedly to conduct the event.  In addition Professor Palwinder Singh, Colonel (Retd) Mohinder Singh and Mr Paramjeet Singh, NRI also encouraged the Cadets and thanked NCC unit for the cleanliness campaign.
